Standards
1.1 The commitment from Company Directors to train and maintain employees health and fitness is effectively backed throughout the organization.
1.2 Employees at all levels are aware of the need to remain fit and healthy in its broad context and how this benefits themselves and the organization.
1.3 The employer has considered the needs of its employees in terms of health and fitness.
1.4 The management contributes to the maintenance of the programme for the benefit of its employees.
2.1 A written plan sets out its targets / objectives to maintain the health and fitness of the employees.
2.2 Health and fitness needs are regularly reviewed against targets of individuals and teams.
2.3 A written commitment to the health and fitness programme and managing authority.
2.4 Accepts responsibility for the commitment to contribute to the health and fitness of its employees.
3.1 All employees are invited to health and fitness workshops held on the premises.
3.2 All employees are given the opportunity at the appropriate level to join the programme.
3.3 All employees are made aware of the activities and choices of activities provided.
3.4 Employees are encouraged to identify and respond to their health and fitness needs.
3.5 Action takes place to meet the health and fitness needs of the employees.
4.1 The organization measures and records against a set of criteria, where they are at in terms of health and fitness of its staff and number of lost working days through work related ill health.
4.2 The organization evaluates the contribution of the programme to its goals and targets.
4.3 Action takes place to improve the programme as identified in the evaluation.
4.4 A continuing commitment to the development of the health and fitness of its employees.
